Karachi  news world latest. October 29, 2021: A blast at a CNG pump in Karachi killed 4 people and injured 6 others. The injured have been shifted to Abbasi Shaheed Hospital. Initially, the blast did not appear to be sabotage, he said. According to rescue sources, the explosion took place while filling gas in a cylinder at a CNG pump station near Matriculation Board Office in Nazimabad area of   Karachi. Also damaged.

As soon as the blast was reported, a heavy contingent of Rangers and police rushed to the spot, security forces sealed off the blast site, while rescue teams shifted the injured to the hospital.


DIG West Nasir Aftab said that initially the blast was known to be a cylinder, but a bomb disposal squad has been called to know the nature of the blast. SSP Malik Murtaza said that the blast took place in the electric room of the CNG pump.No cylinder was installed in the room where the blast took place. The owner of the CNG pump said that the explosion at the pump was caused by someone burning a cigarette.
