Is.According to details,a review meeting was held under the chairmanship of the Prime Minister on issues related to Pakistan Public Works Department.

The meeting was attended by Housing Minister Tariq Bashir Cheema,Federal Minister Asad Umar and Finance Advisor Shaukat Tareen. Prime Minister Imran Khan has directed that necessary laws for construction of new housing units be enacted soon. The government is committed to the policy of providing best housing facilities to public sector employees. The Prime Minister directed that proper maintenance of all housing units of the federal government be ensured.


In addition, a meeting on Kashmir Development Package was held under the chairmanship of Prime Minister Imran Khan. The meeting gave a detailed briefing on the proposed projects in the Kashmir Development Package and their cost. PM Imran Khan said that while removing encroachments, alternative must be provided to the poor man, facilities should be provided in the areas identified by wheelbarrows on the model of Islamabad,government lands should be relinquished and forests should be planted on it, promotion of tourism. Forests with facilities are of key importance.

Similarly, Prime Minister Imran Khan said in a statement on Twitter that according to the World Bank's review of the poverty line, the poverty rate in Pakistan has decreased. In fiscal year 2021, the poverty rate fell to 4.8 percent from 5.3 percent last year. He said that the poverty rate will be reduced to 4% by the financial year 2023. The reduction in poverty is the result of the government's policies based on growth and employment through production.
