The meeting was attended by Housing Minister Tariq Bashir Cheema,Federal Minister Asad Umar and Finance Advisor Shaukat Tareen. The government is committed to the policy of providing best housing facilities to public sector employees. The Prime Minister directed that proper maintenance of all housing units of the federal government be ensured.


In addition, a meeting on Kashmir Development Package was held under the chairmanship of Prime Minister Imran Khan. The meeting gave a detailed briefing on the proposed projects in the Kashmir Development Package and their cost. PM Imran Khan said that while removing encroachments, alternative must be provided to the poor man, facilities should be provided in the areas identified by wheelbarrows on the model of Islamabad,government lands should be relinquished and forests should be planted on it, promotion of tourism.
