Saudi officials announced on Saturday (October 16th) that restrictions on the arrival of worshipers at the Grand Mosque would be lifted.


Following this announcement, from Sunday onwards, all such Muslims, regardless of their total number, have been given general permission to enter the Masjid al-Haram, who have been fully vaccinated.

It is still necessary for everyone inside the mosque to wear a face mask.

This year, no Muslim was allowed to travel to Saudi Arabia from abroad for the Hajj.
