 ISLAMABAD (news world Latest Newspaper. November 30, 2021): A contempt of court case was heard in the Islamabad High Court on the affidavit of former Chief Justice Gilgit-Baltistan. According to details, Chief Justice of Islamabad High Court Athar Minallah heard the contempt case on the affidavit of former Chief Justice Gilgit-Baltistan. During the hearing, the court summoned Rana Shamim to the rostrum.

Chief Justice Athar Minallah said that this was a serious contempt of court. The court had in the past tried to restore public confidence in the judiciary. During the hearing, Attorney General Khalid Javed Khan said that Articles 19 and 19A are related to it. For the first time, he said, he did not give an affidavit to anyone. The attorney general said the court asked him to present the original statement before the affidavit court.

The court asked Rana Shamim to state whether the statement was an affidavit or not. The attorney general told the court to send the document, and we would get it processed by the foreign ministry. Rana Shamim told the court that my answer will come, the document will not come. During the hearing, it was revealed that Rana Shamim did not have a copy of affidavit.
