According to details, the Motorway Police on Tuesday took action against motorcyclists racing on the M9 Motorway Karachi to Hyderabad section.

According to media reports, the IG Motorway had ordered action after it came to light that motorcyclists were racing on the M9. Following the orders of IG Motorway, the personnel deployed on Rachi to Hyderabad section cracked down on M9 and arrested 8 persons racing on the motorway illegally. According to the Motorway Police, news of the racers on the Motorway M9 was received.


 It was reported that all the racers were gathering at a certain place. Immediately after receiving these reports, all the patrolling mobiles were alerted and as soon as the motorcyclists came on the M9, action was taken against them and arrests were made. According to the spokesman of the motorway, there were also 3 vehicles with racers, these vehicles were running covering the racing motorcyclists. Following the operation, a case was registered against all the arrested persons. It should be noted that no motorcyclist, rickshaw or cyclist is allowed to enter any part of the motorway across the country except for the special motorbikes with heavy engines.

He said that day and night work was being done on this grand project and local investors were being provided incentives and facilities on par with foreign companies.


He said that next year more industries would start production here which would significantly increase Pakistan's exports. He said that with the establishment of One Window Center for the convenience of investors in Allama Iqbal Industrial City, the presence of representatives of all concerned federal and provincial departments in one place has also improved the convenience of industrialists.

He said that in order to reduce energy tariff by up to 20%, FedMEC would also purchase power directly from NTDC and also plans to generate power from solar energy and solid waste for which talks were underway with Chinese companies. He said that apart from constructing low cost flats in the economic zones to save the labor costs of the industrial units, besides running shuttle trains from the city to the economic zones and bus service from one economic zone to another. There is a running program which will further enhance the facilities.

He said that M3 Industrial City and Allama Iqbal Industrial City are connected with M4 Motorway Sahiyanwala Interchange while M3 Industrial City has been fully sold where besides Pakistan, China, UK, Saudi Arabia, Korea, Turkey, United Arab Emirates. Investments have been made from many countries including UAE, France and many countries have completed their plants in M3 Industrial City and they are selling their products all over the world including Pakistan which has reduced Pakistan's import bill and increased exports. He said that C-Pac is a great opportunity for the development of Pakistan but for this it is necessary that our youth should acquire expertise in technical education and various arts.
