Islamabad (news world. DW ۔ November 29, 2021) Hardline Hindu organizations in India have once again announced to place a statue of Lord Krishna at the historic royal Eid Gah in the state of Uttar Pradesh, following which authorities have issued restraining orders under Section 144 in the entire region. Has been announced. Police say some Hindu leaders have been arrested in connection with the case.

Hindu organizations have announced that a statue will be placed on December 6 at the historic Eidgah, built during the reign of Mughal King Aurangzeb. It should be noted that on December 6, 1992, the Hindus had demolished the Babri Masjid where a temple is now being built.

Authorities promise action

Officials say it has been decided to enforce section 144 under restraining orders in the wake of the announcement by Hindu organizations.

Gatherings of more than four people are prohibited. District Magistrate Naveen Singh Chahal said, "No one will be allowed to disturb law and order in Mathura."

Police officials say they have also arrested Amit Mishra, a leader of the Hindu organization Narini Sena. According to Chahal, in a meeting with senior officials, they also reviewed the security situation of the royal shrine and the temple built near it.

Claims of Hindu organizations

According to officials, the first organization, the All India Hindu Maha Sabha, had requested for a statue of Lord Krishna inside the mosque, which was rejected. Then on Sunday, another Hindu organization, Narini Sena, announced a march demanding the removal of the mosque.

The Hindu Mahasabha said that on December 6, the royal Eid Gah would be cleaned with Ganga water and then an idol of Lord Krishna would be placed in it.

The Babri Masjid was demolished by the Hindus on December 6, 1992 and this day has been chosen for this occasion.

Hindu organizations claim that their Lord Krishna was born on the site of the Eid Gah and that there was a temple there before them. However, when the police did not give permission to the Maha Sabha, Narini Sena announced a protest march demanding removal of the mosque, after which the administration took action and announced increase in security.

History of Royal Eid Gah

The Royal Eid Gah in Mathura District of Uttar Pradesh was built by the Mughal Emperor Aurangzeb.

But hardline Hindu groups in India have long demanded that the Babri Masjid in Ayodhya, the historic Eidgah in Mathura and the Gyan Vapi Masjid in Banaras be demolished and rebuilt, so they want to rebuild the temple on it. ۔

All three mosques belong to the state of Pope.

Of these, the Babri Masjid has already been demolished and construction of the temple is underway with the permission of the Indian Supreme Court. Now the focus of these organizations is on the Eidgah of Mathura and the Gyan Vapi Mosque in Banaras, which were built during the reign of the Mughal Emperor Aurangzeb.

However, Muslim organizations have been rejecting these claims of Hindus on the basis of evidence and the case is still pending in the court.

But despite this, Hindu organizations have been campaigning for a long time to remove the mosque and build a temple on the site.

There is also an ancient magnificent temple near the royal Eid Gah. Despite this, Hindu organizations insist that Lord Krishna was born at the place where the dome of the Eid Gah now stands.
