Nuclear chief Raphael Grossi will arrive in Iran on Monday

Islamabad news world. DW  November 17, 2021 - The visit of the head of the International Atomic Energy Agency, the UN nuclear watchdog, to Tehran has been confirmed by Iran's domestic nuclear agency. According to the Iranian agency, the head of the nuclear agency, Rafael Grossi, will meet with Iranian officials in Tehran on November 22.

The visit comes at a time when talks on resuming the Iranian nuclear deal are about to begin and a meeting of the International Atomic Energy Agency's governing board is set to begin on November 22.


Grossi will arrive in Tehran on Monday evening and will meet with the new head of the Iranian Atomic Energy Organization, Mohammad Islami, the next morning, Tuesday.



Representatives of the world powers Britain, China, France, Germany and Russia will participate in the talks on the restoration of the nuclear deal. The United States will participate directly in these talks.
