A statement from Jeddah's traffic police said that a car rammed into the wall of a mosque in the southeastern part of Jeddah.

It is reported that upon receiving the report of the accident, the units of Civil Defense, Red Crescent and Traffic Police rushed to the spot, where the rescue teams rushed the injured to the hospital.

 

It is worth mentioning here that the number of traffic accidents has been increasing in Saudi Arabia for some time now. Every day people are losing their lives in one or the other traffic accident. In this regard, the Saudi Public Prosecution has issued a warning that speeding Driving too fast is a serious crime that can lead to imprisonment. Driving too fast is a serious risk to the driver as well as other people's lives.

The public prosecution has clarified that on the highways where the speed limit has been fixed at 140 kmph, if someone drives at an extra speed of 30 kmph and an accident occurs during that time, it will be considered as a serious crime. The same situation will apply to driving at speeds of up to 50 kmph on a 120 kmph highway, in case of death, disability or any other result of an accident while exceeding the speed limit. Injuries that take more than 21 days to heal will result in legal action.
