Islamabad (news world. DW news. December 21, 2021) Like every year, in 2021 also many remarkable researches on the global scientific horizon came to light. However, much of the emphasis has been on vaccine and healthcare research to control the coronavirus and prevent its adverse effects. Despite this, research from other fields of science also managed to prove its importance.

Among these eminent scientists is Dr. Mubashir Hussain Rahmani from Pakistan whose field of research is telecommunication. He is currently affiliated with Munster Technological University of Ireland.

What is the list of Clarity Weight Institute of Scientific Information?

This trend is common all over the world. Any new research is written and then published in reputed scientific journals like Nature Communication, Science, Advanced Materials and England General of Medicine etc. which are carefully examined before publication. And is tested.

These research papers are searched and read by a large number of scientific and non-scientific circles around the world throughout the year. These studies also have profound implications for future research in their specific field of science. On that basis, the Institute for Scientific Information Clarity releases a list each year of research by the most widely read or profoundly influential scientists.

Along with 24 Nobel Prize winning scientists, Pakistan's renowned computer scientist Dr. Mubashir Hussain Rahmani has also been included in the list to be released for 2021.

Dr. Mubashir Rahmani hails from Sindh. He did BS in Computer Systems from BS Mehran University of Engineering and Technology Jamshoro. He completed his PhD in the same field in 2011 from Pierre & Marie Curie University in Paris.

He does research on computer science, telecommunications, blockchain, wireless networks.

In an exclusive interview with DW on the occasion, Dr. Mubashir said that he was also included in the list released by Clary Weight in 2020. He has authored more than 132 research papers, including 11 Highly Sighted Papers.

Dr. Mubashir told Deutsche Welle that this list of Highly Researched Researchers is of great global importance. Because when universities are ranked globally, it is seen how many papers of the scientists of the university have been published in the famous scientific journals. How many of them have been awarded or nominated for the Nobel Prize or other high scientific awards?

What is the reason for lack of world class research in Pakistan?

Dr. Mubashir Rahmani while talking to DW said that if we want to make Pakistani universities and research institutes world class then first of all we have to adopt the standards which are prevalent in the world. The research trend in our higher education institutions is very low, one of the reasons being the low budget of the education sector.

According to Dr. Rahmani, the development of scientific research in Pakistan will take decades, not two or three years. From the primary level of school, practical work has to be increased and scientific thinking has to be promoted in the society.

Dr. Rahmani says, “Questions and reflections are forbidden in the Pakistani education system and just Rata is common.

We have to teach people how to ask questions with scientific thinking and then how to find their answers through practical work. Thus, as science gradually infiltrates our society, world-class research will also emerge from our universities and research institutes. Which will then be reported in leading scientific journals.

The whole problem is that Pakistan has no systematic policy or strategy to harmonize scientific research with the world.

How is it possible to end the ongoing war between science and Islam in Pakistan?

Public opinion in Pakistan is divided. People with a religious mindset are disgusted with science, while those with a scientific mindset are moving away from religion.

In this regard, Dr. Mubashir Rahmani while talking to DW said that his tendency towards religion increased during BS Engineering and he wanted to leave education incomplete and go for preaching. He went to a mufti in Hyderabad for guidance, who persuaded him to complete the education he was receiving.

According to Dr. Mubashir, "Islam does not prevent the acquisition of scientific teachings, nor does the scientific way of thinking displease religion. On the contrary, Islam and the Qur'an are inclined towards self-research."

But it requires a balance between science and Islam. Dr. Mubashir says that whether you are a scientist, an engineer or a banker, it is a kind of religious service if you work honestly and acquire skills in whatever field you are associated with.
