The Chief Minister directed all the Deputy Commissioners and rescue agencies of the province to remain on high alert in view of the recent rains and snowfall and to provide timely assistance to the affected families to deal with any expected situation due to these rains and snowfall. Necessary steps should be taken in time to ensure and re-open the roads closed for traffic due to snowfall and landslides.
The Chief Minister directed the Deputy Commissioners of all the districts to relocate the displaced persons to shelters and other government buildings in their respective districts and ensure all necessary arrangements for their accommodation and food.
