LAHORE: In a new disclosure, Punjab Boss Clergyman Parvez Elahi said Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Director Imran Khan offered him the opening of party's leader in the region if Pakistan Muslim Association Quaid (PML-Q) converged with his party, The News detailed Wednesday.


Last week, the central clergyman indicated the chance of a consolidation between the PTI and PML-Q. The proposition for the consolidation was shared by Khan in a gathering last Friday.

Addressing media people at a service in Lahore, CM Elahi clarified that his party needed to counsel its citizens and laborers prior to taking any such choice.


The main priest expressed that the PML-Q had 10 individuals from the common gathering (MPAs) in Punjab and they needed to counsel individuals of their voting public first. No choice had been accepted in such manner at this point, he said.


CM Elahi, while answering an inquiry connected with the show cause notice served on him by PML-Q President Chaudhry Shujaat Hussain, said Imran Khan was their supporter whom they would always remember.


On January 16, the PML-Q suspended the fundamental party enrollment of Elahi for discussing the chance of his party's conceivable consolidation with the PTI.
