The most recent episode of Saturday Night Live started things off with an Easter Sunday parody of the Last Dinner.
"Unfortunately, one of you will deceive me… and however I have perpetrated no wrongdoing, I will be captured, attempted, and saw as blameworthy," said Mikey Day's Jesus.
"Sound recognizable?!" shouted Donald Trump, played by James Austin Johnson, who proceeds to think about his new capture in New York on 34 crime counts of distorting business records to what occurred with Jesus.
"A popular, magnificent man captured for not an obvious explanation by any means. On the off chance that you haven't assembled it, parents, I'm contrasting myself with Jesus once more, and what preferable time over on his birthday, Easter," offered SNL's Trump.
"Presently, I'm being mistreated on a level any semblance of which the world has never seen — far more detestable than the late, extraordinary Jesus."
"You know, many individuals are saying we're practically the same. We're both extremely tall, exceptionally famous, and both, honestly, white Americans," he proceeded. "You know, Jesus did a few staggering things. Some would call them Marvels, concerning fish and as to bread. Fish and bread, you know. He came back to life on the third day; I would have done it quicker… "
Trump proceeded to contrast his opponent Ron DeSantis with Judas, who can't "get the gays out of Disney World."
"They will come for me, lock me away, on the grounds that very much like Jesus all I did was be cordial to a s** laborer, and presently they need to place me in prison," he added.
